Our Shelton show was most definately NOT our best performance. We had multiple drops and our coach was disappointed, since that was the last time we performed until Thursday, March 18. However, despite all our mistakes, we still placed 2nd, beating Cheshire.

Our next show is on Thursday, March 18 at Bunnell in Stratford. PLEASE come out and support us! Our next show after that is Saturday, March 27 at Brien McMahon (in Norwalk).

We came in second this Saturday at the Danbury show. buahaha, this really isn't that dissappointing... considering the fact that most of our soloists weren't here, and that half the weapons line was missing, I think we kicked major bootay [lol ghetto ness y'all] ^_^ I don't know what the scores were, but I think we lost by .6 ... then again, we did get another penalty for the show being too long... aw shucks... hahaha... The Varsity gaurd did VERY well and pulled of first place, for the third show in a row [hey it rhymes!]

The upcoming show is in shelton, wish us luck!

Welcome to the JV Guard Xanga. Here we will keep you posted with show dates, scores, directions to shows, and all that other good stuff, including random Guard stories and perhaps a few jokes.

Currently, we have had 2 shows and have been considerably better than last year. At our Newtown Show on Jan. 31, we ranked 1 out of 6 in our division, with a score of 57.4.  The second show took us to Brookfield where we placed 2, beating one of our biggest competitors, Brien McMahon (who took 7 out of 7). Cheshire, our other biggest competitor, beat us by only 0.4 points. We still did very well, earning a score of 64.7.

Our next show is scheduled at Danbury High School on Feb. 21. Please come out and support us! Directions will be posted at a future date.
